NOODLE HOUSE

The “Noodle House” at Praterstrasse 30, is a tiny, busy, cheap and cheerful take-away restaurant serving a medley of Asian dishes, everything from sushi to hot noodles. Its iconography boasts a careless and casual display of cultural globalism.
The venue functions as a namesake for GON x Kerstin von Gabain’s collaboration as well as the location for their presentation. Friends of the collaborators are wearing the new SS19 collection by GON styled together with rubber bands cast in prosthetic silicon by Kerstin von Gabain. The models will connect with the space through a variety of individual activities, remaining abstract and alien to its regular customers or spectators. Visually they form a tribe of their own, who has gathered at the Noodle House to indulge in their own situations.
